Athletics

The St. Francis Solano Athletic Program

“Win Kids, Then Games” is the motto of the Catholic Schools League.

Athletics develop leadership, fitness, teamwork, and builds relationships with other Catholic schools. After-school sports are available for students in grades 5-8. We are one of the only schools that offer organized sports in the 5th grade. Our sports include boys’ and girls’ basketball, girls’ volleyball, and co-ed golf (grades 7 and 8). Every student is eligible to participate as long as he/she maintains a minimum GPA. Other programs including lower-division golf, fencing and tennis clinics are offered on campus.

Another wonderful sporting event for St. Francis Solano students is the annual North Bay track meet which is open to grades K–8 in the spring.  Kids of all ages get together to practice their track and field events in preparation for this fun event.
