About Mrs. Picard, MA
Mrs. Picard earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Sacramento State University and her teaching credential from National University. Her teaching career began in 1988 at Saint Rita School in Fairfax, California. There, she taught both fourth and fifth grades.
Mrs. Picard has been a parishioner of Saint Francis Solano Church and teacher at Saint Francis Solano School since 1996. She taught first grade for five years before becoming a sixth grade teacher.
Serving on leadership teams to write narratives for WASC accreditations is a challenge she enjoys. She has also served on a WASC visiting committee.
Both of Mrs. Picard’s daughters are graduates of Saint Francis Solano School (as is her husband!)
Mrs. Picard received her master’s degree through Marymount’s M.Ed. Program. This program focused on Catholic School Leadership for grades PK-12.
