Mrs. Cordero was raised in Napa and has a bachelors degree from SSU. She briefly moved with her husband, Chris, to upstate New York but they returned to California to raise their three children here in Sonoma and have them attend St. Francis Solano School. In addition to being a teachers aide for the last few years, she has been an art docent for many years. She LOVES art! She took courses in fine arts and art history in college and continues to take classes locally at Artescape, Sonoma Community Center and SRJC. She loves working with the students in their creative process and is constantly inspired by their imaginations.
Mrs. Cordero lives in Sonoma with her husband, Chris and her son, who is a senior at Sonoma Valley High School, and their two mini dachshunds, Smudge and Murphy. Her eldest daughter recently graduated from George Washington University and lives in Washington, D.C., and her younger daughter is a senior at the University of Hawaii.
