TUITION
The tuition in 2012-2013 school year for one student will be $5,395 for "active parishioners" and $5,895 for non-parishioners of both St Francis and St Leo's Parishes. There are graduated discounts for each additional child in the school. Payments can be made in monthly, yearly or bi-annually installments. Scholarships and financial aid may be available on limited basis.
SERVICE HOURS and SCRIP
Families are required to give back to the Church Mouse in the form of 32 hours of work (total per family, regardless of the number of students in school), in return for the Church Mouse's financial support to the school. Their contribution enables us to keep the tuition down $1,000 dollars per child! Thank you Church Mouse!
Anyone associated with Catholic Schools in recent years knows that without state or federal support, each school has to fund raise and do all the "little things" to make the school the best it can be. Saint Francis is no exception. There are a few fund-raiser events (culminating with an exciting auction) every year. Scrip has become an easy method of support for schools in that families purchase scrip to act as cash for the basic, day to day items they would purchase anyway such as: gasoline, groceries and clothing. Each family at St Francis has the option to purchase $4000 in scrip each year or pay the school $240 (which is the same 6% return that we generate from the Scrip per family.
